February 15, 2016 Wah Lee Industrial Corp. (3010.TT) announced its January 2016 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,512M, an increase of 7.47% compared to the same period last year.
Wah Lee’s Green Energy was benefitted from the recovery of demands for solar modules in the U.S., China, and India and showed double-digit growth from same period last year. Flat Panel Display industry also showed growth in January as compared to last year. Semiconductor sales grew together with customer’s more contributions from the higher-end nanometer manufacturing process. Lastly, due to the wider applications of Wah Lee’s engineering plastics in various industries, Computer/Communication sales also grew from last year.
Wah Lee is confident that its customers will enjoy growth momentum in 2016 and its own more diversified product applications, both will lead to anticipated growth in its overall sales from quarter to quarter.
