Wah Lee Industrial Corp. announced its August 2014 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,457M.

On Sep. 9, 2014, Wah Lee Industrial Corp. (TSE: 3010) announced its August 2014 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,467M. August sales stayed roughly the same as last month, and the monthly sales increased by 12.43% compared to the same month last year. 2014 YTD consolidated sales was NT$25.93B, an increase of 15.58% compared to the same period of 2013.

In August 2014, the demand from electronic industries remained robust resulting in strong orders from Semiconductor, C/C, and FPD sectors. Semiconductor sales maintained high driven by in advance processes. Sales of high-end engineering plastic in the C/C sector and IC products in the FPD sector continued its growth momentum from July in preparation of demands for new consumer electronic products for the holiday season. Green sales decreased because of recent US Counter-veiling duties and Anti-dumping measure announcement. However, the solar market is expected to expand in 2014H2 as a result of China government’s encouragement for distributed solar power projects and Japan’s increasing solar power installation to obtain the higher subsidy power price. 2014 YTD sales breakdown by industry is as follows:
